History

The history of Safety-Testcenter GmbH is a success story born from a clear realization: the Swiss market for testing and certification services was booming, yet the supply lagged behind the growing demand. Founded in 2025 by a team of highly skilled experts with over 15 years of experience in the TIC industry (Testing, Inspection and Certification), our company emerged as a direct response to this market gap.

The Beginnings: From Idea to Foundation

Our founders – passionate professionals who had worked in leading international TIC companies, knew the challenges of the industry firsthand. They had implemented projects worldwide, from developing rigorous safety protocols in medical technology to certifying automotive components according to global standards such as ISO, IEC, EN, CSA, and UL. Here in Switzerland, where precision and reliability are hallmarks of quality, there was a lack of local providers capable of meeting the increasing demand for fast, efficient, and data-compliant services.

Swiss manufacturers had a strong need for a local partner in Switzerland who could conveniently provide complete testing and certification solutions from a single source.
With this background and a vision for sustainable safety, our founders decided to take the leap.

Present

Safety-Testcenter GmbH is a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) providing expert support in the project management of safety, EMC, and radio testing. In addition, the company analyses global regulatory requirements and organises local certifications to enable Global Market Access (GMA). Through its accredited partner laboratories, EMC-Testcenter (STS 0034) and emvlab (STS 0404), Safety-Testcenter GmbH offers accredited testing packages.
